Utility Electric Co. (India), the parent firm was established in the year 1982 by Sanjiv Taneja, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India. The variety of products handled by the parent firm included:

INTEGRA was born in the year 1998 as a division of the parent firm Utility Electric Co. (India) with the association of Ridhu Sehgal, a Master in Architecture & Industrial Design with a specialization in Automobile Design from School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India.

Since 2005, INTEGRA DESIGN promoted by Sanjiv Taneja & Ridhu Sehgal is on the cutting edge of design & technology & offers tailor made quality products and globally competitive solutions worth INR 65 million annually, operating from a new establishment in excess of 10,000 sq.ft. area, employing state of the art equipment and qualified technicians, experienced production and support staff.
